TO HELP OUR COMMUNITIES

Since 2006, the CareSource Foundation has awarded almost 1,500 grants to nonprofits that are working to eliminate poverty, provide much-needed services to low and moderate-income families, encourage healthy communities, develop innovative approaches to address critical health issues and enhance the lives of a diverse array of people. We are proud of our partnerships and, ultimately, of the impact we are able to make together.

The CareSource Foundation provides Responsive Grants to nonprofit organizations that impact children, adults and families in areas that mirror the social determinants of health.

THESE GRANTS ADDRESS:

• Collaborative partnerships to address critical health trends and build strong communities
• Economic stability and the elimination of poverty
• Domestic violence/child abuse
• Employment and job skills
• Food access
• Health disparities
• Healthy birth outcomes
• Mental and behavioral health
• Safe and affordable housing

And now, as CareSource evolves into a larger company with a substantially wider footprint, our Foundation is taking steps to align even closer with our company’s mission in new markets with new plans. We will collaborate with community partners across multiple states to provide a valuable safety net for our members and improve their lives.

Meanwhile, we will continue to invest in the communities that our employees call home so the cities and towns will grow and attract the talent and opportunities to drive economic progress. Ultimately, this is not a Foundation that rests on legacy.
